Shacman Truck Export

Shacman is the brand African mining and heavy-haul operators reach for when a standard tractor is not enough. We export F2000, F3000 and X3000 in tractor, tipper and cargo configurations, with the specification set against your payload rather than a standard catalogue sheet.

Why buyers choose Shacman

The F series traces back to the MAN F2000 cab and a Steyr-derived driveline, which is why the parts pattern is familiar to mechanics who have worked on European trucks. The X3000 moves to a stiffer chassis and a higher-torque engine. In practice that means a truck that tolerates overloading better than lighter competitors — which matters on routes where axle load limits are enforced unevenly and a 40-tonne legal load quietly becomes 55 tonnes.

Model range

Model Cab Typical engine Where it fits
F2000 MAN F2000 licensed, flat floor WD615, 290–336 hp General haulage and tipper work on a tighter budget
F3000 Upgraded F2000 cab, heavier chassis WD615, 336–380 hp Heavy haul, mining support, rough-road tipper fleets
X3000 New platform, improved insulation and comfort Weichai WP10 / WP12, 350–430 hp Long-haul tractor work where driver comfort affects retention

Typical configurations only. Final engine rating, gearbox, axle ratio and emission standard are confirmed on the quotation.

Configurations we export

  • 6×4 tractor — 40–60 t GCW, day cab or sleeper, single or twin fuel tanks
  • 8×4 tipper — 30–40 cubic metre body, high-tensile steel, front-lift or centre-lift ram
  • 6×4 cargo — flat bed, dropside or box body for building materials and distribution
  • Tanker chassis — tractor or rigid chassis prepared for fuel and water tank bodies

Export process and documentation

  1. Requirement — route, payload, terrain, annual mileage and destination port
  2. Specification and quotation — model, engine, gearbox, axle ratio and tyre brand confirmed line by line
  3. Production or stock allocation — 25–40 working days for a built-to-order unit, faster if a matching stock chassis is available
  4. Pre-shipment inspection — photos and video, chassis and engine numbers recorded
  5. Shipping — RoRo, container or flat rack depending on the port
  6. Documents — commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin

Spare parts and service

Shacman parts are less universal in Africa than Howo parts, so the practical question is what to stock before the first failure. The parts that stop a truck are predictable: clutch plates, brake chambers, wheel cylinders, suspension bushes, water pumps and injectors. We can ship a first-year service kit with the unit and quote replenishment against your consumption once the fleet is running.

If a truck is going to work in a remote area, tell us at quotation stage — the kit changes, and it is far cheaper to load it into the same container than to air-freight it later.

Frequently asked questions

Which Shacman model should I choose?

F2000 for general haulage on a tighter budget, F3000 for heavy haul and rough-road tipper work, X3000 for long-haul tractor work where driver comfort affects retention.

Are Shacman parts available in Africa?

The F series is widely supported. X3000 parts are less common outside major ports, so we ship a first-year service kit with every unit and quote replenishment against your consumption.

Can you supply right-hand drive?

Yes, for markets that require it. Confirm the requirement at quotation stage because it changes the lead time.

What is the lead time?

25 to 40 working days for a built-to-order unit, faster if a matching stock chassis is available.
